MELBOURNE, Australia – Rockerhill, a global leader in water conservancy and water treatment engineering solutions, has been awarded a significant contract for the Lang Lang Creek Fishway project in Australia. The project, commissioned by Melbourne Water, represents a major investment in environmental infrastructure and fish passage enhancement.
The Lang Lang Creek Fishway is a comprehensive water infrastructure project designed to improve fish migration and aquatic ecosystem connectivity. Rockerhill's scope of work encompasses the design, supply, and installation of critical water control and structural components, including precast fishlock chambers, aluminium bulkhead gates with integrated penstock and stopboard systems, stainless steel trash racks to local contractor.
Additional project elements include concrete access steps, a floating containment boom system, CCTV and buoy piles, security fencing, and a hydraulic and electrical control cabinet. The project has been issued for construction with a status date of 19 February 2026.
